Ways of Giving?

Endowments & Gifts

Patients, families and friends have been generous in the past with gifts or donations to the Hospital.

All have found great peace and comfort knowing loved ones have received such special care in familiar local surroundings when they need it most.

Donated funds are a ring-fenced source of finance exclusively used to enhance the provision of care in the Robinson. As time goes on these funds will play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing availability of Intermediate and Palliative Care beds in the Ballymoney area.

A gift in your will could make a tremendous difference to the provision of Health Care here for the future.

Our legal advisors are here to help so if you are interested in further information please give us a call.

Donations

The Robinson Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Fund -- Focusing on Care within the Community of Causeway District.

The Palliative Care Fund is protected for use in the Care of patients needing Palliative Care within the Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ballymoney. Palliative care focuses on relieving and preventing the suffering of Patients with a Cancer diagnosis as well as other life threatening illnesses such as Motor Neurone disease, Lung failure and others where a cure cannot be achieved.  It utilizes a Multidisciplinary approach to Patient care and relies on input from Nurses, Hospice and Macmillan Nurses, Physicians, Chaplains, Social Workers and other Health Care Professionals. This approach allows the Palliative Care Team to address Physical, Emotional, Social and Spiritual Concerns as appropriate.

The Palliative Care Fund was set up to improve the facilities for and the environment around those patients within the Robinson Hospital often at the end stage of their illness- at a time when many are so vulnerable and uncertain.

Dr. John Johnston ----- Hon. Secretary.
